Canadian country music trio The Washboard Union has officially signed with ABC Music, marking a significant step in their efforts to grow their fanbase in Australia. The trio—composed of stepbrothers Aaron Grain, Chris Duncombe, and their best friend David John Roberts—looks to expand their reach down under ahead of their highly anticipated debut at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January.
Natalie Waller, Head of ABC Music, expressed her excitement about the partnership, noting that both she and ABC Country Label Manager Jenny Peachey had seen the band perform in Canada and were eager to bring them to the Australian market.
With this new deal, The Washboard Union joins a roster of prominent Australian country artists, including The Wolfe Brothers, Max Jackson, Travis Collins, Lee Kernaghan, Amber Lawrence, and Melanie Dyer, further solidifying their international presence.
