The Manitoba Country Music Awards (MCMAs) celebrated the province’s finest country musicians in Winnipeg, with several local artists taking home prestigious honors. Among the standout winners were Troy Flamand and Josh Gareau, both of whom earned recognition for their exceptional contributions to the country music scene.
Flamand, who was awarded Guitar Player of the Year, shared his excitement and gratitude upon receiving the honor. “It was such a special moment. I was more nervous waiting for my name to be called than actually performing on stage,” Flamand said, reflecting on the thrill of the achievement.
