Our Girl Drop Vibrant Indie Rock Anthem “Who Do You Love”

Indie rock band Our Girl has unveiled their latest single, “Who Do You Love,” a vibrant and introspective track from their newly released album The Good Kind, out now via Bella Union.

The song reflects a deeply personal journey for lead singer and guitarist Soph Nathan, who shares, “It was only through being proud of others, and wanting to convince them of how much they should be celebrated, that I learned to feel truly confident in my own sexuality. This song helped me reflect on my experience of ‘coming out’ as a teenager, and the way my feelings have shifted in the years since. Like many of the songs on this record, it started off tough and ended with a celebration!”

The Good Kind, which follows early singles like the title track featuring Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa, delves into themes of sexuality, relationships, community, and illness. The album’s sound is a blend of Our Girl’s signature dynamics, from powerful guitars and soaring lead lines to intimate vocals and memorable choruses.

The record was crafted at the iconic Rockfield Studios, with production from alt-rock legend John Parish (PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse), Fern Ford (The Big Moon, Prima Queen), and Soph Nathan herself. The Good Kind represents the band’s evolution, reflecting their long, often challenging journey to their highly anticipated sophomore release—and the rewards of trusting the creative process.
