Country music legends Brooks & Dunn have reunited to bring fans a wave of nostalgia with the release of REBOOT II, their latest album featuring reimagined classics with a fresh twist. The new release, out now, is a sequel to their successful 2019 project REBOOT, which featured collaborations with rising stars like Luke Combs, Jon Pardi, Kacey Musgraves, and Thomas Rhett.
Reflecting on the success of the original REBOOT, Kix Brooks expressed the joy it brought the duo. “It worked as well as we could have hoped for,” Brooks shared with Country Living. “It really created a new audience for us, and it was definitely the most fun we’ve ever had making a record.”
While fans may be eager for more, Brooks has tempered expectations regarding a potential REBOOT III. “We don’t have plans for REBOOT III or anything like that,” he noted. “We may just need to do something fresh. I can’t imagine just turning around and trying to do this again. I don’t want to wear this out, you know?”
