PBS will honor country music icon Patsy Cline in Patsy Cline: Walkin’ After Midnight, a special concert airing on Great Performances on November 22 at 9 p.m. The tribute event, filmed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, celebrates Cline’s immense influence on the music world, showcasing her timeless voice and legacy.
The concert features performances by a diverse range of artists, including Wynonna, Kellie Pickler, Mickey Guyton, Grace Potter, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, and many more. Artists from various genres, such as country, pop, rock, bluegrass, and gospel, come together to honor Cline’s groundbreaking contributions to music.
In addition to the musical performances, the program offers insightful archival interviews and commentary from those who knew Patsy Cline best, including her husband Charlie Dick, country legends Loretta Lynn and Dottie West, as well as industry figures like Roy Clark and Owen Bradley.
