Christian rap music star Sky Surface is gearing up for the release of his new album, He Get Glory, a project that reflects his journey of faith, resilience, and overcoming life’s challenges. Since dedicating himself to music in 2016, the Army veteran, father, husband, and passionate follower of Christ has used his rap as a platform to inspire and uplift today’s youth.
Sky opened up about the themes behind He Get Glory, revealing that the album is deeply personal. “The album tells the story of my life—how I’ve adapted and grown through life’s obstacles,” he explained. “From being a father, a son, a husband, to a minister, the core of my identity is built on Christ. He’s the center of everything, guiding me through it all, and it’s only by His grace that I stand strong.”
With a focus on Christ-centered themes, the album’s messages are rooted in hope and faith, aiming to spread the gospel through rap. “Every aspect of the album is Holy Spirit-inspired,” Sky said. “I want to provide a positive, Christ-focused alternative in the rap community, giving the youth something they can rely on for strength and assurance in God’s word.”
