The track, featuring Drake, is the first of Brown’s songs to achieve this prestigious certification, signifying 10 million units sold in the U.S., including digital downloads, physical sales, and streams.
In a celebratory Instagram post, Brown expressed his gratitude, writing, “DIAMOND. COOK AND REMAIN HUMBLE.”
Released on June 8, 2019, as part of his Indigo album, “No Guidance” became a massive hit. It peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped multiple charts, including R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Adult R&B Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay. The track, written by Brown, Drake, Velous, and Nija Charles, was produced by Vinylz, J-Louis, Teddy Walton, and 40.
This milestone also marks Drake’s eighth Diamond certification, further solidifying his place as one of the most successful artists in the music industry.
