Rob Mills, EVP of Unscripted & Alternative Entertainment at Walt Disney Television, was presented with the 2024 CMA Founding President’s Award by the Country Music Association (CMA). The prestigious honor was bestowed on Mills during rehearsals for the 58th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville, held on November 19, ahead of the main event hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson.
This recognition comes as Disney continues to strengthen its partnership with the CMA. The company extended its deal for the CMA Awards through 2026, following its recent acquisition of the rights to broadcast the Grammys. In addition to airing the CMA Awards on ABC, Disney also holds the broadcasting rights to the CMA Fest and CMA Country Christmas.
