Sydney Harbour will soon host its inaugural floating country music festival, Hits On The Harbour, a groundbreaking event set to bring country tunes to the iconic waterfront. Announced by singer-songwriter Jeremy Turner, the festival is the first of its kind in Australia, offering an unforgettable country music experience aboard the Seadeck boat.
Turner, in collaboration with local business Chris Watson Travel and Ringers Western, unveiled the event, titled Tamworth Comes to Town. “Proud to announce I’ll be teaming up with two great mates… as we take over Sydney Harbour with Australia’s first Country Music Festival on the harbour,” Turner shared on Facebook.
The festival, sponsored by Ringers Western, will take place from January 31 to February 2 and promises a weekend filled with live performances, DJs, and dancing. Headlined by American artist John Stone, the event will also feature performances by Tori Darke, Liam Brew, Tyla Rodrigues, and Australia’s top country DJ, DJ Bux. Over five hours, festival-goers will enjoy a celebration of country music like never before, set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s skyline.
