Rising star Shaboozey has been named SoundExchange’s 2024 Breakout Artist, cementing his status as a trailblazer in the music industry. The honor comes during a landmark year for the genre-defying artist, who has achieved historic milestones with his chart-topping hits and high-profile collaborations.
Shaboozey’s breakout single, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and his critically acclaimed album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, have dominated the airwaves and streaming platforms. Notably, he became the first Black artist to simultaneously top both Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and the Hot 100, a testament to his crossover appeal and cultural impact.
The accolades don’t stop there. Shaboozey’s contributions to Beyoncé’s star-studded country album Cowboy Carter further solidified his position as a genre-bending force in the music world.
Fans can catch Shaboozey’s electrifying performance as the headliner for the Thanksgiving Halftime Show powered by Verizon during the Detroit Lions’ annual holiday game on November 28, airing live on CBS.
His North American tour concludes December 16 in Philadelphia, followed by a major kickoff to 2025 with a performance at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry House on January 18. Shaboozey will then embark on a European tour in March.
