Milwaukee’s iconic hip-hop collective, Black Elephant, will reunite for a one-night-only performance next week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album Eat This Album. The group, which made waves in the early 2000s with Hiatus (2002) and their breakthrough Eat This Album (2004), solidified their place in the city’s hip-hop scene with memorable performances at Summerfest and on the college tour circuit.
The anniversary show will take place on Friday, Nov. 29, at The Cooperage, located near Water St. and National Ave. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the performance scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets online.
This event marks a rare opportunity for longtime fans to experience the group’s energetic live performance once again, as Black Elephant has remained relatively inactive in recent years. Don’t miss this chance to relive the sounds that helped shape Milwaukee’s hip-hop landscape.
