Westwood One has announced a new chapter for the iconic American Country Countdown, as Ryan Fox will step in as host beginning the weekend of January 4-5, 2025. Fox, currently the morning host at Dallas’ 99.5 The Wolf, will take over from Kix Brooks, who is retiring after an impressive 18-year tenure.
Brooks’ final show will air the weekend of December 28-29, 2024, marking the end of his distinguished run hosting the syndicated country music countdown. Fox’s version of American Country Countdown will continue the tradition of spotlighting today’s hottest country stars, including Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, and Lainey Wilson.
Broadcast on over 300 stations nationwide, American Country Countdown with Ryan Fox will feature the latest chart-topping hits, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of country music.
