K-pop acts Stray Kids, BTS’ Jungkook, and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) have secured multiple nominations for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), which will be held on December 12. The nominations, revealed on Monday, highlight the global impact of these artists in the U.S. music scene.
Stray Kids earned four nominations in three categories, including Top Duo/Group, Top Global K-Pop Artist, and Top K-Pop Album for “Rock Star” and “Ate.” Jungkook received five nominations across four categories, including Top Song Sales Artist, Top Global K-Pop Artist, and Top K-Pop Album for his solo release “Golden”. He is also nominated for Top Global K-Pop Song with “Standing Next to You” and “3D (feat. Jack Harlow).”
TXT earned three nominations in Top Global K-Pop Artist, Top K-Pop Touring Artist, and Top K-Pop Album for “The Name Chapter: Freefall.”
Other notable K-pop nominees include BTS’ Jimin, with nods for Top Global K-Pop Artist and Top Global K-Pop Song for his hit “Who,” and Enhypen, nominated in Top Global K-Pop Artist and Top K-Pop Touring Artist categories. Seventeen, Ateez, ILLIT, and Le Sserafim also received nominations for various K-pop categories.
The 2024 BBMAs will be broadcast live on U.S. Fox and Fire TV channels.
