For Lonestar’s Michael Britt, the journey from small-town beginnings to playing some of the world’s most iconic stages continues to feel surreal. As a founding member of the band, Britt has had the chance to perform in unforgettable locations, from the White House to an aircraft carrier and even London. Yet, he says the most rewarding moments come from seeing how fans respond to their music.
“We’ve gotten to do some mind-blowing things, but the biggest thrill is always watching how people react to a song, feeling that connection,” Britt said. “I’m enjoying seeing the fans enjoy what we’re doing.”
Lonestar will bring that energy to TempleLive in Fort Smith on December 6 at 8 p.m. The concert promises a mix of new tracks from their latest work, alongside some of the band’s classic hits and even a few Christmas songs to celebrate the season. Britt says the festive additions are a refreshing change from their usual setlists.
The band’s 2009 Christmas album was a milestone for Britt, as it marked his collaboration with legendary producer Dan Huff, further cementing his legacy in country music. Fans can look forward to a special evening full of surprises and nostalgia when Lonestar takes the stage.
