The Tampa Bay Rodeo is bringing an action-packed weekend of bull riding and country music to the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in Dover on January 17-18, 2025. The Bull Bash & Country Music Festival will feature live performances from chart-topping singer-songwriter Chris Janson on January 17 and platinum-selling country star Clay Walker on January 18, with both artists taking the stage during the 90-minute intermissions of the Bull Bash.
Top bull riders from the region will compete for cash prizes in a thrilling multi-round competition, with the action intensifying as the final rounds approach. After each musical interlude, the Bull Bash will resume to crown the event’s champion.
Chris Janson, known for his dynamic blend of country traditions and contemporary sound, and Clay Walker, a legend whose career boasts multiple platinum albums and countless hit singles, will energize the crowd with their performances. Walker, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996, is also a passionate advocate for the MS community through his Clay Walker Foundation’s Band Against MS Gala.
The festival kicks off each evening at 5 p.m., with gates opening for fans to enjoy food, cold drinks, and a mechanical bull before the competition begins. Local favorite Crossfire Creek Band will perform both nights starting at 5:45 p.m. The Bull Bash action begins at 8 p.m., with the headliners performing from 9-10:15 p.m. each night, wrapping up the event at 11 p.m.
Tickets are available now, with advance general admission priced at $50 until January 1, 2025. Prices will increase to $60 starting January 2, 2025. General parking is free, while premium parking is available for $30 per night.
The Bull Bash & Country Music Festival will take place at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, located at 215 Sydney Washer Rd. in Dover.
