Country music artist Alex Miller is bringing a fresh, down-to-earth vibe with the release of his new music video for “She Makes Dirt Look Good.” Premiering today on DIRT ROAD COUNTRY, the video is a companion piece to Miller’s latest single, offering a perfect blend of rural charm and cinematic flair.
Filmed over two days in Bowling Green and Hodgenville, Kentucky, the video was directed by Steve Kinney, a longtime collaborator of Miller’s. “Man, I can’t tell you how much fun this shoot was,” Miller shared. “We had drones, pickup trucks, back roads, and some big equipment. We also had a sweet, beautiful girl and my favorite John Deere dealership, Wright Implement, featured. They’ve been around since 1936, and they take good care of us.”
The video stars Miller alongside Nashville actress Ayla Demirci, who plays his love interest. The two navigate a picturesque rural landscape, with sun-filled days and stunning sunsets. Demirci’s character, a gearhead who repairs massive John Deere machines, complements Miller’s portrayal of a hardworking farm boy who picks her up after a long day. Their on-screen chemistry is undeniable, with the video showcasing both tender moments and dynamic shots of farm life.
The production also features breathtaking scenes shot at Freshstart Farms in Hodgenville, one of the oldest farms in the area. “I’m a farmer, and so I wanted to depict agriculture in an accurate way,” Miller said. “It was important to me to use local places in this video, and Freshstart is one of the oldest and most beautiful farms around.” The video highlights stunning visuals, including towering grain silos and dramatic shots of harvesters in action after dark, enhanced by drone footage for a cinematic feel.
With its combination of rural authenticity, stunning visuals, and genuine chemistry between the leads, “She Makes Dirt Look Good” is sure to leave a lasting impression on fans of both Alex Miller and classic country storytelling.
