The Weeknd is set to return with new music, revealing that his highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow will drop on January 24, 2025. To celebrate the release, the chart-topping artist will perform a major concert the following day at the iconic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Southern California.
The new LP will serve as the follow-up to his 2022 album Dawn FM, and as the final installment in a musical trilogy that began with After Hours in 2020. Hurry Up Tomorrow also arrives a year and a half after the conclusion of The Idol, the HBO series where The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) played a cult-leader-like pop star, alongside co-star Lily-Rose Depp and creator Sam Levinson.
Ahead of the album’s release, The Weeknd has already dropped three singles: “Dancing in the Flames,” “Timeless,” and “São Paulo.” The song “Timeless,” which features Playboi Carti, has made waves, currently sitting at No. 14 on Billboard’s Hot 100. “Dancing in the Flames” has also charted, peaking at No. 14 and currently holding steady at No. 55.
Fans can expect an exciting new chapter from The Weeknd when Hurry Up Tomorrow arrives next January.
