As the winter season approaches, K-pop stars are preparing to bring warmth to fans with a series of cozy, festive music releases. Several top artists are ready to drop new tracks that blend the magic of the season with their unique musical styles.
BTS’ V will team up with renowned singer Park Hyo-shin for a winter duet titled “Winter Ahead.” Known for his seasonal hits like “Snow Flower” and “Christmas Tree,” V reached out to Park, celebrated for his emotive vocals, to collaborate on the new jazz-pop track. Featuring a warm melody and romantic lyrics penned by acclaimed songwriter Jesse Harris (best known for Norah Jones’ “Don’t Know Why”), the song is set to evoke feelings of nostalgia and comfort. According to BigHit Music, the duet reflects both artists’ tastes, with their soft, gentle vocals conveying a sense of warmth to listeners.
In addition to “Winter Ahead,” V will also release a remix of the holiday classic “White Christmas” on December 6, where he will duet with the late Bing Crosby, adding a new twist to the beloved carol.
Meanwhile, K-pop soloist Chungha will release a special Christmas single, “Christmas Promises,” on December 3. The upcoming track marks her return after four months, following her hit “Algorithm.” Chungha’s agency, More Vision, teased the release with a poster revealing two festive title tracks, “Sleigh” and “There Goes Santa Claus.” The agency promised an unforgettable, heartwarming experience for fans this winter through the new release.
With these upcoming releases, K-pop artists are set to add a fresh and festive soundtrack to the season, spreading cheer and warmth to listeners across the globe.
