Since his release from prison in October, Young Thug has kept a low profile, leaving fans eagerly awaiting new music. But the rapper’s sister, Dora Williams, offered an optimistic update, assuring fans that fresh tracks from the YSL Records founder are on the horizon.
“My brother is going crazy with the new music. I promise y’all won’t be disappointed. Just give him time to heal mentally,” Williams tweeted. She reminded fans of the challenges Young Thug has faced recently, adding, “He lost four people in 2022 and went to jail, fought a case for 2 years. In the mix of fighting for his life, we lost our sister in 2023. He’s coming.”
Despite these hardships, Young Thug has remained focused on his music. In early November, a photo of him in the studio with Future, Travis Scott, and Lil Baby surfaced, sparking excitement about new collaborations, including a possible track titled WHAM.
His latest album, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS, dropped in 2023 while he was incarcerated. The 15-track project featured collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, and Future, with standout tracks like “Oh U Went,” “Want Me Dead,” and “Abracadabra.”
Fans are now eagerly anticipating what comes next, with his sister promising that the wait for new music will soon be over.
