Hard rock power trio SKAM is back with their most eclectic and daring album to date, From The Depths. Known for their no-nonsense, gutsy British rock sound, the band has once again pushed the boundaries of their genre, experimenting with everything from metal to prog rock and acoustic balladry.
Formed in 2011, SKAM quickly earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying live acts. Their earlier releases, It’s Come to This (2011) and Peacemaker (2014), were met with critical acclaim, and they established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the British rock scene. Their 2017 concept album, The Amazing Memoirs of Geoffrey Goddard, based on the diary of a time-traveling RAF pilot, garnered praise for its gritty, anthemic tracks and earned five-star reviews from the UK press. Lead single Take It Or Leave It even became Classic Rock Magazine’s “Track of the Week.”
SKAM’s journey continued with the success of their 2021 Intra EP, which cracked the Official UK Rock Charts at number 6, followed by Venous, which reached number 5, solidifying their growing presence in the UK rock scene.
Now, with From The Depths, SKAM has ventured into uncharted musical territory, showcasing a range of influences and styles that demonstrate their growth as musicians and songwriters. The album’s bold experimentation reflects the band’s ambition to keep evolving while staying true to their roots.
To support the release, SKAM will hit the road for a UK tour, bringing their high-energy live performance to fans across the country.
The upcoming dates include:
November 29: The Musician, Leicester
November 30: The Patriot, Newport
December 1: Planet Rockstock, Porthcawl
With From The Depths, SKAM proves that they are not just a band, but a creative force pushing the limits of modern rock music.
