Spiritbox frontwoman Courtney LaPlante has shared her excitement over the band’s Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance, marking a major milestone in their career. The 2025 Grammy nomination places Spiritbox in fierce competition alongside Gojira, Metallica, Judas Priest, and Knocked Loose featuring Poppy.

LaPlante expressed her pride, noting that while legacy bands often dominate the category, this year’s nominations include a refreshing mix of both established and emerging talent. “Historically, it’s been mostly legacy bands with maybe one smaller band. This time, two newer acts—Spiritbox and Knocked Loose—are nominated alongside Poppy,” she said.
