The Country Music Association (CMA) and ABC have announced that Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood will return to host the 15th annual CMA Country Christmas special, airing Tuesday, December 3, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The holiday event will also be available for streaming the following day on Hulu and Disney+.
Filmed in Nashville before a live audience, CMA Country Christmas will feature performances of beloved Christmas classics by some of country music’s biggest stars. Grant and Yearwood will not only host but also take the stage to perform together, singing “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” Grant will also treat viewers to a rendition of her own holiday classic, “Tennessee Christmas.”
The star-studded performer lineup includes For King + Country with Carin León, who will perform “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” Cody Johnson with renditions of “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” Ashley McBryde and Brittney Spencer performing “Man With The Bag,” Jon Pardi with “Horsepower Sleigh,” and CeCe Winans delivering a powerful version of “Joy To The World.”
CMA Country Christmas promises to be a festive celebration of the season, showcasing the talents of country music’s finest in a heartwarming holiday special. Tune in on December 3 at 8/7c on ABC, or catch it on-demand starting December 4 via Hulu and Disney+.
