Blake Shelton made a heartwarming surprise appearance at Ole Red in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, just in time for Thanksgiving. With the bar packed for a special performance by The Swon Brothers—familiar faces from The Voice Season 4—it seemed like the perfect opportunity for Shelton to drop in and surprise the crowd. Though the duo, who finished in third place on the show, went on to sign with Arista Nashville, it was Shelton’s introduction that stole the show.
The crowd erupted with excitement as Shelton introduced The Swon Brothers, and fans flooded social media to express their gratitude. One fan commented, “Ole Red has great food and Blake gives us veterans a 50% discount on food. I love the bison chili. It’s so delicious. Thanks Blake for your support!” Others shared their disappointment at not being there to witness the special moment in person.
Shelton’s Thanksgiving surprise wasn’t the only big news he had for fans. In addition to his time at Ole Red, Shelton is preparing for his upcoming Las Vegas residency, set to begin in February 2025. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Shelton joked about the shows, calling them a “stretch” when referring to them as a residency. “Gwen gets a little bit irritated when she sees this,” he laughed, referencing his wife Gwen Stefani’s much larger residency schedule. “She did, like, 60 or 70 shows, you know.”
With a special Thanksgiving moment in his hometown and a highly anticipated residency on the horizon, Blake Shelton’s fans have plenty to look forward to this holiday season and beyond.
