Power metal music icons Gloryhammer are ending 2024 with a bang, releasing a surprise single titled “He Has Returned”. The new track brings the beloved character of the Robot Prince of Auchtertool back into the spotlight, expanding on his legendary saga while introducing a fresh sound. The band blends their signature heavy metal style with uplifting electro-synths and blistering dual guitars, all wrapped in the anthemic choruses that have defined their music for over a decade.
In addition to the new single, Gloryhammer is celebrating their evolution with two bonus tracks: reimagined versions of “The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee” from their 2010 demo and “Hootsforce” from their 2019 album Legends From Beyond The Galactic Terrorvortex. Both tracks have been given a new life thanks to fresh production from George Lever (Loathe, Sleep Token) and Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Powerwolf, Volbeat), ensuring that the classics sound as powerful as ever.
With “He Has Returned”, Gloryhammer not only delivers a potent dose of fantasy-driven metal but also marks a thrilling chapter in their ongoing musical journey. Fans can enjoy the song alongside its official music video, now available across streaming platforms.
