Troye Sivan’s final stop on his Something to Give Each Other tour was nothing short of a spectacle. On December 2nd, the Australian pop music sensation wrapped up his globe-spanning tour with a vibrant and electric performance at Auckland’s Spark Arena.
After a year marked by major wins, including three ARIA Awards and a sold-out co-headlining stint with Charli XCX, Sivan had plenty to celebrate as he took the stage. “I feel so lucky to be spending tonight with you guys, seriously,” he told the crowd, his face lighting up on the massive projectors behind him. “You’re already one of my favourite crowds.”
The energy in the arena was undeniable as Sivan kicked off with Got Me Started, the pulsating, Bag Raiders-sampling anthem from his latest album. The crowd immediately erupted into a frenzy.
From there, Sivan delivered an unapologetically bold and sexually-charged show, blending his signature hits with bold choreography and outfit changes ranging from studded leather vests to sparkling assless chaps. The stage was set for a night of liberated expression and physicality, underscored by a troupe of six dancers, many shirtless and flexing impressive abs.
Sivan’s show in Auckland capped off a career-defining year, with the artist fully embracing his unapologetic, lusty, and playful persona, leaving fans with an unforgettable night of high-energy celebration.
