Lana Del Rey, the iconic singer-songwriter known for her ethereal pop sound, is set to release her highly anticipated 10th studio album, The Right Person Will Stay, on May 21. The announcement, made via an Instagram post, has sparked a wave of excitement among her fans.
Del Rey expressed her gratitude for the album’s creation, which features 13 tracks shaped by collaborations with several key contributors, including renowned producer Jack Antonoff, country music producer Luke Laird, and composer Drew Erickson. The singer also thanked her sister, Caroline “Chuck” Grant, for her role in the album’s visual projects.
“So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach, and Drew Erickson, amongst others,” Del Rey wrote. “Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach starting with Henry. Love Always.”
Notably, the inclusion of Laird, famed for his work with country legends like Carrie Underwood and Eric Church, suggests a shift in Del Rey’s musical direction toward a more country-influenced sound. Fans can expect a blend of familiar styles and fresh new tones when the album drops in May.
