Country music star Chris Young has made a significant career move, signing with Black River Entertainment’s Black River Records. This marks the end of his nearly two-decade-long partnership with Sony Music Nashville’s RCA Nashville imprint, where he had been since the beginning of his career in 2006.
A multiplatinum-selling singer, songwriter, and producer, Young has enjoyed a highly successful career, releasing nine studio albums and earning more than 9 billion on-demand streams. His impressive catalog includes 11 Billboard Country Airplay chart-topping singles, along with numerous award nominations, including ACM, CMA, CMT, and Grammy nods. Notably, he has won two CMT Music Awards—one for Performance of the Year for his hit “Drowning” and another for Collaborative Video of the Year for the “Famous Friends” music video with Kane Brown.
Young’s decision to join Black River Entertainment marks a new chapter in his illustrious career, as he prepares for the next phase with fresh opportunities and creative collaboration.
