BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to make waves in the U.S. music scene with her hit single “APT.” As of the week ending December 7, the song, featuring Bruno Mars, climbed to No. 14 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, marking a historic achievement as the first female K-pop soloist to break into the top 15.
This milestone makes Rosé only the second female K-pop artist overall to achieve such a feat, following FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid.” Additionally, “APT.” is just the second song by a female K-pop act to ever enter the top 15 on the Pop Airplay chart, underscoring Rosé’s growing dominance in mainstream U.S. radio.
Beyond Pop Airplay, Rosé also made history by becoming the first female K-pop soloist to break into the top 40 of Billboard’s Radio Songs chart, with “APT.” reaching No. 29 in its second week. The song has also maintained its position at No. 1 for six consecutive weeks on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, further cementing Rosé’s place in K-pop history.
In addition to these achievements, Rosé’s new single, “number one girl,” made an impressive debut, entering the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 11 and the Global 200 at No. 29. “APT.” continues to perform strongly, ranking No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and No. 20 on the Streaming Songs chart.
Rosé also saw a significant leap in Billboard’s Artist 100, jumping 43 spots to No. 48, marking her seventh week as a solo artist on the chart.
With these remarkable accomplishments, Rosé continues to solidify her place as one of the most successful and groundbreaking K-pop soloists in history.
