Shawn Cuddy to Headline Rosley Village Hall’s Final 2024 Show

Irish country music icon Shawn Cuddy is set to perform at Rosley Village Hall on December 15, marking the final Irish Country Music show of the year at the venue.

Hailing from County Laois, Cuddy boasts a career spanning over 35 years, during which he has toured internationally and released more than 20 award-winning albums and DVDs. Drawing inspiration from Irish legends like Big Tom, Margo, Foster and Allen, as well as American greats Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, Cuddy has established himself as a global country music favorite.

Notably, Cuddy toured with Johnny Cash and the Carter Family in 1989 and joined Foster and Allen for a UK tour in 1990, experiences that helped cement his reputation in the industry.

Event organizer Adele Egglestone shared her excitement about the upcoming show: “Shawn has been appearing at Rosley for nearly 30 years and has become a well-known name throughout Cumbria. His high-energy performances, wit, and Irish charm are sure to have the audience tapping their feet, dancing, and singing along.”
