Legendary rock music band Pearl Jam is set to bring their electrifying live performances to Raleigh for two nights in May, as part of their five-city U.S. tour promoting their Grammy-nominated album, Dark Matter. The shows will take place at the Lenovo Center (formerly PNC Arena) on Sunday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 13.
This marks Pearl Jam’s first North Carolina performance since their 2013 concert at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center. Fans will recall the band’s canceled 2016 Raleigh show in protest of House Bill 2, a controversial law mandating bathroom use based on assigned sex at birth.
The tour follows the April release of Dark Matter, the band’s 12th studio album, which has earned three Grammy nominations. Known for their powerhouse performances and unwavering commitment to social issues, Pearl Jam promises an unforgettable experience for rock enthusiasts in the Triangle area.
Tickets and additional details for the Raleigh concerts are expected to be announced soon. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot at this long-awaited return.
