Eminem took center stage at the Etihad Park on Saturday for what could be his largest concert in Abu Dhabi to date, thrilling over 40,000 fans at the F1 Grand Prix. Headlining the third after-race concert of the series, the US rapper showcased his remarkable energy and talent in a performance that was both poignant and powerful.
The Abu Dhabi gig was particularly emotional for Eminem, coming just five days after the passing of his mother, Debbie Nelson. Despite initial concerns about the possibility of the concert being canceled, Eminem’s team confirmed on Wednesday that the show would go on as planned.
This performance also offered fans a preview of what to expect from Eminem’s 2025 world tour, with elements from his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace), and a striking stage design.
This marked Eminem’s second full-length concert of 2024, following his performance at the United States Grand Prix in Texas in October. The Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix after-race concert series will conclude on Sunday with a set by British rock band Muse, accessible exclusively to Grand Prix ticket holders.
