The Sziget Festival has revealed the first wave of performers for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, set to take place from August 6 to 11 on Budapest’s Óbuda Island (Hajógyári Island). Over 40 artists have already been announced, offering a mix of global music icons, innovative artists, and crowd favorites across various genres.
Headlining the festival is pop superstar Nelly Furtado, whose illustrious career boasts over 20 billion streams and 45 million albums sold. Furtado, known for her chart-topping hits and genre-defying songwriting, made a triumphant return to the music scene earlier this year with her album 7.
Joining Furtado is Charli XCX, whose 2024 album Brat has racked up millions of streams. Charli’s dynamic stage presence and infectious hits make her one of the festival’s top draws.
Electronic music fans can look forward to performances by trailblazers such as Anyma (Matteo Milleri from Tale of Us), who blends music, art, and technology through his Genesys series. Trance legend Armin van Buuren and techno pioneer Boris Brejcha will also bring their electrifying sounds to the festival, while the iconic French duo Justice promises an unforgettable set with new material.
The lineup also features indie rockers Blossoms, theatrical rockers Palaye Royale, and a diverse mix of celebrated DJs and emerging talents like Adriatique, Fatima Yamaha, and Kenya Grace.
With even more performers yet to be announced, the 2025 edition of Sziget is shaping up to be an epic celebration of music and culture, continuing its legacy as one of Europe’s premier music festivals. Tickets and additional details are available on the festival’s official website.
