Heavy metal comedians Nanowar of Steel are back with their latest track, HelloWorld.java, adding another ridiculous yet brilliant piece to their repertoire of parody-infused anthems. Known for their unique blend of humor and headbanging riffs, the band’s new song offers a laugh-out-loud take on programming culture.
HelloWorld.java cleverly integrates the chaos of coding with the intensity of metal, featuring lyrics written in Java programming language—though listeners are warned to translate at their own risk. The song, now available on all streaming platforms, comes with a quirky source code video that’s sure to delight both programmers and metalheads alike.
This release comes as part of the band’s live album, XX Years of Steel, via Napalm Records. The album celebrates the band’s legacy, featuring live performances from their Alcatraz show in Milan, as well as re-recorded tracks, covers, and future hits. XX Years of Steel is “new and old at the same time,” delivering a mix of past classics and fresh, tongue-in-cheek content. The album also includes a bonus disc with enough “mediocre hits” to satisfy any fan’s curiosity.
