Mitchell-based country singer Chris Mabb is excited to share his latest project, Cadillac Fever, a new album he hopes will resonate with listeners of all ages. The 43-year-old artist, who has been releasing music under Steam Whistle Records since 2021, began writing for the album in the spring of 2023. Seeking to elevate his sound, Mabb teamed up with long-time friend Darcy John, an independent artist and producer based in Nashville for over a decade.
The collaboration proved fruitful, as the pair spent months fine-tuning ideas until they arrived at the final product. Cadillac Fever, released last month, was recorded and produced in John’s home studio in Gordonsville, Tennessee. The project took nearly a full year to complete, with recording beginning in August 2023 and wrapping up in August 2024.
Mabb’s new album is now available on all streaming platforms, and physical CDs can be purchased for $10. Fans can also follow Mabb’s musical journey on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, where he keeps his followers updated with his latest releases and performances.
