by Barbara

French metalcore band Landmvrks have revealed the first glimpse of their upcoming fourth studio album, The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, set to drop on April 25th via Arising Empire. To build anticipation, the band has released two powerful singles, “Sulfur” and “Sombre 16,” along with an accompanying music video that merges both tracks into a visual journey.

Directed by Pavel Trebukhin, known for his work with Bleed From Within and Imminence, the video brings to life the dark and emotionally charged themes that are central to the band’s latest project. The music video sets the stage for the conceptual narrative of the album, which follows a protagonist’s descent into both physical and mental turmoil.

In a statement, Landmvrks explained that “Sulfur” and “Sombre 16” continue the storyline established in their previous track “Creature,” while expanding the universe of The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been. “These songs illustrate the protagonist’s journey as he falls deeper into hell, undergoing drastic transformations,” the band shared, hinting at the intense emotional and thematic exploration featured throughout the album.
