A new celebration of country music is coming to southern Wisconsin in 2025 with the launch of the Mount Horeb Country Music Faire. Set to take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Grundahl Park in Mount Horeb, the festival promises to showcase a blend of local talent and rising stars in the country music scene.
Founded by Kyle Keene, a Mount Horeb resident since 2021, the festival is a tribute to his late sister, Courtney, who passed away in 2022 after a battle with cancer. Keene, who moved to the area to care for her, has since embraced the community and decided to create an event that would give back while honoring her memory.
“My love of music, my love of this area, and putting this all together, we need something like this here,” Keene said. “All the big events happen in the summer up north, and there really isn’t a lot down here.”
The festival will run from 11 a.m. to midnight and feature three stages with a diverse lineup, including country music legends, a winner from The Voice, an America’s Got Talent alum, and local artists from Mount Horeb. Profits from the event will benefit several local nonprofits, including the Mount Horeb Community Foundation and the Madison Reading Project.
Tickets for the event are on sale now for $99, with only 4,000 tickets available. Fans are encouraged to purchase early to secure their spot for this exciting inaugural event.
