K-pop sensation Stray Kids has officially dropped their highly anticipated album Hop, according to their agency, JYP Entertainment. The album’s title cleverly blends two concepts: the Chinese character for “harmony” and the word “hop,” a nod to the hip-hop genre that shapes much of the group’s musical style.
The 12-track album is anchored by the lead single, “Walkin On Water,” and features standout songs like “Bounce Back,” “U,” and solo performances from the group during their recent world tour.
Each member played a key role in the album’s creation, with the group’s in-house production team, 3RACHA—comprised of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han—taking charge of much of the composition and production.
Stray Kids, who continue to dominate the global K-pop scene, are set to perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles, further cementing their international presence.
