American black/extreme metal outfit CATHARIA has released their highly anticipated second album, “Unimaginable Dreams of Fate” through Extreme Metal Music, a subsidiary of Rockshots Records.
Formed in the late 2010s by guitarist Matt Powell, CATHARIA’s mission has been to blend dark, aggressive, and technical sounds with melodic depth. Their music defies easy categorization, with a foundation in black metal while continually exploring new sonic territories. After overcoming several lineup changes, the band made its debut with “Midnight Sun,” produced by Jackson Ward. The addition of vocalist Nick Kiefer, who joined after a standout cover of Wiegedood, solidified the band’s evolving sound. With bassist Dylan Thompson and drummer Michael Edrington now part of the lineup, CATHARIA has emerged as a unified force, ready to push their boundaries even further.
