Actor Owen Wilson surprised hip-hop fans during Travis Scott’s performance at Rolling Loud Miami, adding an unexpected twist to the festival’s closing night.
As the festival wrapped up its highly anticipated 10th anniversary weekend, fans gathered in Miami Gardens to see some of the biggest names in hip-hop. However, no one was prepared for Wilson’s cameo during Scott’s set on Saturday. Fan-recorded videos captured the moment as the Wedding Crashers star took to the stage, hyping up Scott for the performance of his hit song “FE!N” from 2023.
With the crowd buzzing, Wilson shouted, “I’m [feigning] for more,” before jumping up and down in true hype-man fashion to help ramp up the energy. His playful appearance added an extra layer of excitement to an already electric atmosphere.
This surprise cameo comes that Wilson is set to star in an R-rated comedy, Rolling Loud, inspired by the iconic music festival. The film, written and directed by Jeremy Garelick, will follow the story of an overprotective father who attends the festival with his 13-year-old son, a reckless coworker, and a festival volunteer. Comedian Matt Rife will also star. It’s unclear if Wilson’s stage appearance will be referenced in the movie.
In addition to Scott, the 2024 Rolling Loud Miami lineup featured top hip-hop artists including Future, Playboi Carti, Metro Boomin, Lil Yachty, Don Toliver, Kodak Black, Sexyy Red, Lil Baby, Bryson Tiller, Shaboozey, and Rich The Kid.
