Country music star Drew Gregory is celebrating a major career milestone with several nominations for the 2025 Country Music Alberta Awards. Gregory has been recognized in multiple categories, further solidifying his place in the Alberta country music scene.
The nominations include Horizon Male Artist of the Year, Video of the Year for his hit song “This Side of the Dirt” featuring Codi McIvor, Fan’s Choice, Guitar Player, and Specialty Instrument with Mitch Jay. Gregory is also nominated for Songwriter of the Year, alongside Wade Kirby, for “This Side of the Dirt,” and for Industry Person of the Year with Angie Morris.
Gregory expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking Country Music Alberta for its support. “This organization has always had my back, and I’m proud to be a part of it,” he wrote. He also encouraged voting members to consider him in the upcoming awards.
The 2025 Country Music Alberta Awards will take place from March 1-2 at the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino.
