Country music superstars Lonestar are set to celebrate the holiday season with a special “Christmas & Hits” performance at the Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet on Sunday, December 22.

The award-winning band—comprising Dean Sams (keyboards, acoustic guitar, background vocals), Michael Britt (lead guitar, background vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums), and Drew Womack (lead vocals, guitar)—is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated TEN to 1 album, which reimagines 10 of their chart-topping hits.

Lonestar’s success began in 1996 with the rock-infused single “No News,” followed by hits like “Come Cryin’ to Me” and “Everything’s Changed.” Their breakout album Lonely Grill (1999), which went quadruple platinum, produced four No. 1 hits, including the massive chart-topper “Amazed.” This album solidified their status as one of the leading forces in pop-country music.

Over the years, Lonestar has garnered numerous prestigious awards, including Academy of Country Music honors such as New Vocal Group (1996), Single and Song of the Year (2000), and Humanitarian of the Year (2002). They also received the Country Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year and International Artist Achievement award in 2001. With nearly 11 million records sold, Lonestar remains a beloved fixture in country music.
