Legendary heavy metal icon King Diamond has dropped his highly anticipated new single, Spider Lilly, the first track from his forthcoming horror trilogy, Saint Lucifer’s Hospital 1920. The chilling new song showcases King Diamond’s signature style, blending dark, atmospheric elements with intense metal instrumentation.
Mixed by Arthur Rizk (known for his work with Blood Incantation, Kreator, and Municipal Waste), Spider Lilly presents a powerful and dynamic sound, reflecting Diamond’s mastery of both music and storytelling. The track is also enriched by a special guest appearance from Danish singer Myrkur.
The band lineup remains unchanged, maintaining the core sound fans have come to love. Adding to the eerie ambiance, part of the song’s music video was filmed at the infamous Pennhurst State School and Hospital in Pennsylvania, further enhancing the track’s haunting narrative.
