K-pop powerhouse GOT7 is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback in January 2025. The seven-member group revealed on December 20 that they will release their new mini-album, Winter Heptagon, to celebrate their 11th anniversary since debuting in 2014.
Set for release on January 20 at 6 PM KST, Winter Heptagon promises to showcase the group’s growth and musical evolution, blending their individual talents with their unbreakable bond as a unit. A statement from Kakao Entertainment emphasized that the album will highlight the members’ chemistry, solidifying their status as a unique and irreplaceable force in the industry.
The mini-album comes after a two-year hiatus, following their self-titled release in May 2022, the group’s first project since parting ways with JYP Entertainment. GOT7’s leader, Jay B, hinted at the group’s return earlier this month during his Tape: Reload concert, where several other members made special appearances.
Known for their hits like “Just Right” and “If You Do,” GOT7—comprising Jay B, Jinyoung, Jackson Wang, Mark Tuan, BamBam, Youngjae, and Yugyeom—first captured the spotlight in 2014 with their debut mini-album Got It?. After leaving JYP Entertainment in 2021, the group has continued to build their individual careers, but Winter Heptagon marks their much-awaited return to music as a full group.
Stay tuned for more details and a taste of what promises to be a spectacular celebration of GOT7’s legacy and their dedicated global fanbase.
