Katy Perry surprised her fans by releasing a deluxe edition of her latest album, 1432, just in time for the holidays. The new version of the album includes the previously unreleased track “OK,” a mid-tempo pop anthem produced by Dr. Luke, where Perry promises to stay by your side no matter the circumstances.
The deluxe edition, retitled 1432, not only features the original album’s 11 tracks but also adds three new songs: “I Woke Up,” “Has a Heart,” and the seasonally fitting “No Tears for New Year’s.” Perry shared the news on Instagram, writing, “I WOKE UP and wanted to give my KatyCats an early holiday gift. To everyone who HAS A HEART, I wish you NO MORE TEARS FOR NEW YEAR’S. I’m always gonna be around no matter if you’re up or down. 1432 is here OK!”
The album title 1432 is a clever twist on the original 143, which stood for “I love you.” The new version translates to “I love you too,” further cementing Perry’s bond with her dedicated fanbase. Released in September, 143 included singles like “Woman’s World,” “Lifetimes,” and “I’m His, He’s Mine,” featuring Doechii.
The holiday season has been busy for Perry, who recently appeared on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball special, which aired on ABC alongside Tate McRae and NCT Dream. Looking ahead to 2025, Perry will kick off her Lifetimes Tour, starting with shows in Mexico City on April 23, followed by stops in Australia and North America.
