Flatland Cavalry, the rising country-rock sextet from Lubbock, is making waves in the music world and is ready to take center stage in Dallas-Fort Worth for the first time as a headliner. Known for their breezy country-rock sound, which evokes the classic vibes of Poco and Pure Prairie League, the band has garnered attention across multiple platforms, from television to film.
Led by singer-guitarist Cleto Cordero, Flatland Cavalry made a significant impact in 2024, contributing new tracks to blockbuster films Twisters and the latest The Hunger Games installment. Additionally, their older hits found a new audience through their inclusion in the hit TV series Yellowstone, Landman, and The Ranch.
To close out the year, the band is set to perform at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, marking their first headlining arena show in the region. The Dec. 31 performance will also feature Austin singer-songwriter Ty Myers and the R&B duo Bros Fresh, consisting of twin brothers Torrence and Thurman Thomas.
The concert will kick off at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are available starting at $24.50 via Ticketmaster.
