Rising Nashville artist Cay Aliese had a moment she’ll never forget during her regular Broadway gig, when country superstar Jason Aldean unexpectedly joined her on stage for a duet.
According to a video Aliese shared on social media, the surprise performance came after Aldean’s wife, Brittany, requested a cover of Miranda Lambert’s “Tin Man” during Aliese’s set. The request alone was thrilling, but things took an even more exciting turn when Jason Aldean himself stepped up to the stage.
Grabbing an acoustic guitar, Aldean joined Aliese for the song, playing a supporting role as the two performed the emotional ballad together. While Aldean strummed along in the background and lent his voice to the chorus, it was clear that he let Aliese take center stage for the majority of the performance.
For Aliese, the duet was a dream come true. In her social media post, she shared her excitement, revealing that she has long been a fan of Aldean’s music.
