Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist Cramos, a prominent figure in New York City’s underground scene, is gearing up to release her highly anticipated debut single, “I Am Groot,” on January 21st. Known for her sharp wordplay, creative punchlines, and unapologetically queer identity, Cramos has built a reputation as one of the city’s most innovative lyricists.
A regular at NYC’s Legendary Cyphers and a performer at events like NYFW and Hex Appeal at Hell Phone, Cramos has earned praise from industry peers. “She’s one of the best songwriters I’ve ever met,” says fellow artist Sah Money, while Kid Quizine adds, “I really think she’s got what it takes to make it big.”
“I Am Groot” is a Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired track that features Cramos’ signature mix of humor and complex rhyme schemes. The energetic song is built around a catchy hook:
“Loyal to my girl, she scorchin’ like the Hot Pocket
Middle two fingers, keep her alive – Pop Socket
Yeah, I am Groot, I am not Rocket”
The track, fully written by Cramos, was produced by No1se Beats and engineered by Kid Quizine at Pebbl Studios in Brooklyn. The single will be released under the indie label Auxytocin Productions, marking a significant milestone in Cramos’ rising career. Fans can expect more of her unique style as she continues to make waves in the hip-hop world.
