Drake is gearing up for his long-awaited return to Australia, promising fans a “very, very special show” as part of his upcoming Anita Max Win Tour. This marks his first visit to the country in eight years, and the rapper couldn’t hide his excitement during a recent Drizzmas Giveaway stream with Kick streamer Adin Ross.
Reflecting on his fondness for Australia, Drake shared personal memories of his time there, recalling a moment at Bondi Beach where he sipped white wine and marveled at the beauty of the country. “Australia is one of the most incredible places on planet Earth,” he said, expressing his enthusiasm for returning after nearly a decade. “I hope everybody gets a chance to see it. It is stunning, the people are incredible.”
Drake, who has released major albums since his last Australian visit in 2017, including Scorpion (2018), Certified Lover Boy (2021), Her Loss (2022), and For All the Dogs (2023), also teased his Australian accent during the stream. “I can’t wait to see all my Australias. I’m keen, mate, easy as,” he said with a grin.
