Filipino fans of Korean entertainment can look forward to an action-packed 2025, with a slew of K-pop acts and K-drama stars set to visit the country for concerts and fan meetings.
Kicking off the year, K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN will perform in Bulacan on January 18 and 19 as part of their highly anticipated “Right Here” tour. The concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium marks their return to the country following their “Follow” tour stop last year.
Actor Hwang In-youp, known for his roles in popular dramas like Family By Choice and True Beauty, will hold his “In Love” fan meeting on January 25 at the New Frontier Theater.
On January 26, rock band N.Flying will take the stage at the New Frontier Theater for the Manila leg of their “Hide-Out” concert tour.
February will see even more exciting performances, starting with EXO’s Baekhyun, who will hold a fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 2. Then, on February 22, K-pop band Day6 will perform at the Araneta Coliseum as part of their “Forever Young” tour, while BIGBANG’s Taeyang will bring his “The Light Year” concert to the Mall of Asia Arena.
Waterbomb Manila, an electrifying festival featuring Korean idols and hip-hop artists, will light up the Quirino Grandstand on February 22 and 23. Indie band wave to earth will wrap up the month with their “play with earth! 0.03” tour at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 28.
March will bring ENHYPEN to the Philippine Sports Stadium on March 1 for their “Walk the Line” concert, followed by BOYNEXTDOOR’s “Knock On Vol. 1” tour on March 22 at the Araneta Coliseum.
April will continue the excitement, with Super Junior’s Kyuhyun performing at the New Frontier Theater on April 5, followed by NCT sub-unit NCT Wish on April 12.
The Philippines, a major hub for the global “Hallyu” wave, is set to host an incredible lineup of stars, cementing the country’s place as one of the top destinations for Korean cultural events. In 2022, the Philippines ranked fourth globally in the number of X (formerly Twitter) users posting about Korean content.
