Rapper and songwriter BigXthaPlug is blending genres and gearing up to make a big splash in country music. The Texas native, known for his unique blend of rap and southern sounds, has revealed plans for a country music EP featuring an all-star lineup of artists from both the country and hip-hop worlds.
BigXthaPlug shared that his upcoming EP will include collaborations with country music heavyweights such as Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Luke Combs, and Shaboozey, with whom he previously worked on the track “Drink Don’t Need No Mix.” The project is set to highlight his versatility as an artist while bridging the gap between rap and country music.
“I got a country EP loaded up… you got Shaboozey, you got Morgan Wallen, you got Post Malone, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll…” BigXthaPlug said. The rapper also mentioned a second project in the works, teasing a mix of southern rap collaborations with stars like Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, and NLE Choppa.
